ROLE – ECD | Head of Creative Strategy 

GOAL – Make Prom Night for the entire world.

To launch their musical comedy feature film The Prom, Netflix wanted to feel like they were taking the entire world to prom. The whole world, in a year when we were all stuck inside. A defining night that celebrates coming of age suddenly needed to be globally accessible. So we did. We created a digital Prom worth streaming and went live on YouTube. Janelle Monet headlined, Galantis brought the grooves to get you dancing in your living room, and Jonathan Van Ness MC’d an evening of special guests. We mobilized an inclusive team of influencers to host their communities. The Prom for Everyone had over 1.7 Million viewers, making it the most successful digital experience for Netflix to date.
